Hello Mark, I just wanted to say thanks for your work. I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks lately and got a craving for a childhood favorite, Jules Verne's "Mysterious Island". I think you've done a great job with it and wanted to track you down to say thanks!

Hi, Mark, thank you for your great job on librivox. You are my favorite reader so far, I have enjoyed your solo works very much, like Tarzan of the apes, the outline of science,....
I hope you will produce more solo projects. I would be grateful if
Benjamin Franklin's works are in your solo project plan:)

best regards
yanyan

Hi Mark,
My wife and I have enjoyed your reading of Huckleberry Finn. Thanks to Librivox, we both have a lot of great things to listen to at work!

We have a question regarding Huck Finn. There were a few sections that seem to be left out of the reading. Was this an abridged version? A "custom" editing? My wife knows the book front to back and a couple of notable episodes seem to have been left out.

Where Huck decides against turning Jim in, and then engages in an internal battle over his soul going to hell. That seems to have been omitted.

There are other episodes that seem to be missing. Can you shed any light on this?

Again, a fan of Librivox and one who appreciates your volunteering!

I just finished 11 hour of my first encounter with The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, read by you sir. At the end of it all you said, "Thanks for listenin'" and that made me smile. I really loved your narrative so much. I wanted to say, "You're welcomed for the listen, and thank you for the read."

Dear Mark,
I just finished listening to Doyle's "Lost World" read by you, and I just wanted to let you know that it has been an absolute pleasure listening to you! Thank you so much! I started discovering Librivox with your reading of Bennett's "How to live on 24 hours a day", and even several months and lots of readings later I still think your are one of the most excellent voices of Librivox. I will make sure to take care of my immortal soul by listening to more of your well chosen and impeccably read texts.

All the best from Göttingen, Germany,

Christina

Dear Mark,

I just finished listening to Dicken's Great Expectations
and Doyle's Lost World read by you (while making an
afgan and sweater in crochet; the stitches seem to go
more quickly in your company). I must tell you that
you set the bar very high for your fellow readers.
Not many can equal your excellence in rendering the
material so pleasurably. Your love of the challange
shines in every word. Thanks so much!!
